Kenneth M. Corroon (President & CEO)

Mr. Corroon is the founder of Homeostasis Laboratories™, which he created to bring together the best aspects of traditional homeopathic medicine and the progressive virtues of modern 100% all-natural health remedies. He also co-founded in 2005 and was CEO of the airport-based wellness company Harmony Pharmacy & Health Center™ (www.harmonypharmacy.com) that brings together many aspects of a traditional European pharmacy with the warmth, care and dependability of a family practitioner. Mr. Corroon was the CEO and driving force behind the brand development, product selection and conceptual execution of Harmony Pharmacy. He has been featured on/in CNBC Power Lunch, CNN, Fox News and the New York Times. Before leaving to form Homeostasis Labs™, Mr. Corroon secured eight new airport store locations throughout the country for Harmony Pharmacy and won Best New Retail Concept of the Year (1st runner up) and nominated for Best New Design of the Year by the Airport Council International. He attended and played varsity basketball at Oklahoma State University. Mr. Corroon also spent two years in Athens, Greece playing professional basketball for Olympiakos Sports Club. He was a Vice President at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and then attended Harvard University and the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business where he earned his Master of Liberal Arts in Government and his MBA in Finance & Accounting, respectively. our years at UBS Investment Bank.

Dr. Lisa Amerine

Dr. Amerine is the founder of a successful naturopathic and homeopathic medical clinic in Lafayette, Colorado where her clinic changes the lives of thousands. She is recognized state and nationwide for her dedication to homeopathic and naturopathic medicine. Dr. Amerine is currently in pursuit of further developing her expertise in homeopathy by seeking diplomat status with the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians. She attended Colorado State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and then completed her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Amerine has spent significant time in conventional and natural clinics to develop her skills as a physician. She has focused her studies in pure homeopathy and nutrition where she has spent several thousand hours in a clinical setting and completing extensive literature reviews of the great medical masters of the past. Dr. Amerine uses her solid foundation in medicine to treat people suffering from diseases ranging from an acute cold to severe chronic disease.

Nancy Gahles, DC, CCH, RSHom (NA), President of the National Center for Homeopathy

Dr. Nancy Gahles is an advisor to Homeostasis Laboratories and a doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Classical Homeopath who has been in family practice since 1980. Her practice is a holistic one combining homeopathy, herbs, nutrition, yoga and meditation along with structural correction for a variety of health issues. Dr. Gahles is the President of the NationalCenter for Homeopathy (NCH) (www.nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org) and chairs the committee for Homeopathy Today, the magazine of the NCH. She has authored articles on a variety of health issues that have responded favorably to homeopathic treatment. Dr. Gahles is Founder and Director of Health & Harmony Wellness Education, a consultation and resource center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine and Integrative Healthcare.  She is the author of a bimonthly health column, Health & Harmony, published in, The Wave newspaper (www.rockawave.com) and has published articles for the Big Apple Parent paper in Manhattan and Queens, the American Homeopath, the Journal of the North American Society of Homeopaths and the Digest of Chiropractic Economics among others. Dr. Gahles is a recognized expert in the field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) and Integrative Medicine and has lectured extensively throughout the United States. She serves on the Ask The Experts panels of Mothering Magazine and naturalmedicine.com and serves on the Advisory Board of Integrative Practitioner.com where she has published articles as well. Dr. Gahles serves an expert and co-host of a monthly radio show, Inner Health Through Homeopathy (www.innerhealth.us).  Dr. Gahles is the co-author of a grant to the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Homeopathy. Andy P. Bormeth, R.Ph.

Mr. Bormeth has recently passed away, however, his support and guidance in developing our company will not be forgotten. He began his own consulting business in 2005 (entitled "Natural Pharmaceutical Consulting Services) with numerous clients in the natural products industry, both large and small. He specializes in regulatory compliance, technology transfer, and product development/introduction. Mr. Bormeth is also currently filling the role of Executive Secretary on the Board of Directors with AAHP - American Association of Homeopathic Pharmacists (with prior positions of VP and President on that board). Finally, he has been working in the position of Executive Director for the HPCUS (Homeopathic Pharmacopeia Convention of the U.S.). Prior, as Head Pharmacist for Boericke & Tafel from 1991 to 2004 (Director, Pharmaceutical Operations and Director, Technical Affairs), Mr. Bormeth has provided technical leadership for manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, facilities, material control, quality assurance/control, product development, clinical studies, regulatory compliance, and personnel training. His previous 8+ years of work at Syntex Corporation, have helped bring large pharmaceutical concepts to the homeopathic industry. Mr. Bormeth has earned his Pharmacy degree, with a specialization in industrial technology, through the University of Illinois, College of Pharmacy (and is licensed in California and Illinois). He has subsequently earned his Masters in Business Administration through Santa Clara University, with an emphasis in International Financial Analysis.

Dr. Brent Ridge

As an undergraduate, Dr. Brent Ridge majored in public health and environmental science, studying the way the state of the natural environment impacts our health choices. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, completed his post-graduate training at Columbia University, and also holds an MBA from New York University. As a physician, he specializes in the field of aging and worked in partnership with Martha Stewart to develop the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai, a premier facility for the management of chronic health conditions and for the promotion of healthy aging. According to Dr. Ridge, "aging" is not about a number or a year, but rather "learning ways to maximize your health so that whether you are 30, 50, or 80, you are getting the most out of your life and doing the things you love to do." Dr. Ridge served as the Vice President for Healthy Living at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and is the founder of www.beekman1802.com, a company dedicated to celebrating seasonal living.

Kimberly Blue

Ms. Blue joined UBS in 1999 as a Managing Director and Head of the Investment Grade Energy and Utility Origination Group. In 2002, she was named Co-Head of the US Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets Division. Ms. Blue has been active in the UBS All Bar None, People Committee, Political Action Committee, Accountability Task Force, Due Diligence Steering Committee and professional recruitment. Landmark transactions include the largest-ever debt offerings within the Utility and Energy sectors. In 2004, UBS acted as joint book runner on a $6.7bn 5-tranche offering for Pacific Gas and Electric Company as the California-based utility engaged in an intense re-organization process. In 2006, Ms. Blue played a pivotal role in leading a $5.5bn 3-tranche-bond take-out financing of a $24bn bridge used to fund Anadarko Petroleum’s acquisitions of Kerr-McGee and Western Gas Resources. She received her BA in finance from Franklin and Marshall College and her MBA in finance from NYU's Stern School of Business. Prior to joining UBS in 1999, Ms. Blue was a Managing Director covering the energy and utility sectors for what was then known as Salomon Smith Barney, now known as Citi. Prior to investment banking, she was a generalist fixed income, institutional salesperson.

Darren Krein

Mr. Krein is a homeopathic and natural products industry veteran, with over 10 years experience in these healthcare product industries. During his career to date, Mr. Krein has overseen all aspects of manufacturing and production of homeopathic medicine, and has brought numerous products to market across all channels - including Health Food Stores, Medical Doctors, Natural Medicine Practitioners, Pharmacies, Grocery Stores, Online Retailers, and Mass Market. Darren's career in the natural products industry began in 1998 when he started as a Production Supervisor for Dolisos America, Inc, the US Subsidiary of Laboratoires Dolisos – wholly-owned by the prestigious French pharmaceutical corporation Laboratoires Pierre Fabre. Within the first year of joining Dolisos America and overseeing many facets of the production of Homeopathic medicines, Mr. Krein moved into the sales division to help grow and establish the company on the national stage. A position of Professional Sales Manager quickly evolved into the role of National Sales Manager in January 2001, and then the key executive role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing in March 2003. During this time Mr. Krein was responsible for all aspects of Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Forecasting and New Product Planning and Launching, along with assisting in Production Planning, Operations, Regulatory Affairs and General Management. Dolisos America experienced a three-fold growth during this period from 1998 - 2005. When Dolisos merged with Boiron in 2005, Darren remained with Laboratoires Pierre Fabre as Vice President of their newly founded subsidiary, Sante Active, Inc. which he helped launch in November 2005. Mr. Krein reached the position of Executive Vice President of Sante Active on April 1, 2007, a position he still holds today. Sante Active markets and distributes a wide array of products in the US from the Healthcare Products Division of the Pierre Fabre Group, while also offering contract-manufacturing services of homeopathic products at their state of the art facility in Henderson, NV. Darren Krein earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh - Majoring in Environmental Science while taking numerous courses in Business Management and Administration and minoring in Chemistry.

Michael Rutledge

Mr. Rutledge is a pharmaceutical and personal care formulator, and expert in the regulatory requirements for these categories. He has over 30 years of experience in the formulation and quality control of drugs, cosmetics and nutritional products, he has personally directed the building of drug and cosmetic facilities from the planning stage, through the completed and functioning factory. Mr. Rutledge also has obtained all required permits from each regulatory agency and directed the implementation of GMPS (Good Manufacturing procedures) as required by FDA. He has formulated over two thousand products for the Natural Foods Industry, the Salon and Spa industry, multi-level organizations and mass market suppliers. Mr. Rutledge is a past member of the NNFA (National Nutritional Foods Association) Compli Technical Committee to determine industry standards, and The Society of Cosmetic Chemists. He has written numerous technical articles and a book on the formulation of drug and cosmetic products. Mr. Rutledge has spoken before many industry groups on the subjects of regulations, formulation, and customer knowledge. Mr. Rutledge has lectured throughout Asia –primarily Japan, Thailand, China, Malaysia and Korea, - on the subject of consumer products. Mr. Rutledge was also the owner and President of Earth Science Inc., a thirty million dollar in sales company, producing products for the Natural Foods Industry. He holds degrees in Chemistry and Business.

Michael S. Castleman

Mr. Castleman currently is a Partner and acting COO of EHP Capital, LLC, a long / short equity fund with a focus on value and special situations investing. Prior to EHP, from 2006 through 2008, Mr. Castleman founded and was Managing Partner of Inference Capital Management LLC and Inference Opportunity Partners LP. This investment partnership applied a private equity-like value approach to investing in small cap companies in business services, technology, industrial, and energy services sectors. Prior to Inference, Mr. Castleman spent more than twelve years at Lehman Brothers Inc., where he was Managing Director, Co-Head and a founder of Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, the venture capital affiliate of Lehman Brothers. With more than $900 million in capital commitments across four generations of investment funds, LBVP focused on mid-to-late stage and growth capital investments across a variety of sectors. On behalf of LBVP, Mr. Castleman served as a director or board advisor to eighteen portfolio companies. From October 2004 through September 2005, Mr. Castleman also served as Interim CEO of one of LBVP’s healthcare services portfolio companies. From 1994 to1998, Mr. Castleman was an Associate in the Merchant Banking Group and Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers. Previously, Mr. Castleman was a Consultant with Harbor Research, Inc., a boutique strategy consulting firm focused on industrial technology. Mr. Castleman earned his M.B.A. from Columbia School of Business in 1994, and his B.S. Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1989.

Phil McIntyre

Mr. McIntyre is the Chief Executive Officer of two Greenwich-based companies: The Brand Gallery and PGM Artists.  He has served in the past on the Associate Board of Directors of the AICP, East Coast Chapter (2004-06) and is on its Perks (as chair), Membership and Golf committees.  Highly respected for his thoughful insights into emerging media trends, Mr. McIntyre is also well-known for his keen eye for talent and thorough knowledge of production technologies and methodologies.  The Brand Gallery (www.TheBrandGallery.com) specializes in the development of brand architecture and design for screen media, having created presentation, promotion and design strategies for some of the world's most-recognized media brands.  PGM Artists (www.PGMArtists.com) is best described by its mantra: Connecting Creative Companies.  It serves as a conduit that links a broad-based consortium of visual effects, animation and live-action production companies with the media companies and advertising agencies that seek these services.  Before launching The Brand Gallery and PGM Artists, McIntyre was a Partner and Head of Sales and Marketing for the New York-based design and effects company Click 3x.  He was also an East and West Coast sales executive for R/Greenberg & Associates in New York.  Mr. McIntyre is a graduate of Denison University where he majored in film theory, history and production.
